2014 március 16.-án Szerbia parlamenti választásokat tart. A jelenlegi kormánypártok a Szerb Haladó Párt 48,8%-ra, a Szerbiai Szocialista Párt 9,4%-ra számíthat. Boris Tadić volt elnök új pártja az Új Demokrata Párt 8,6%-ot, Vojislav Koštunica Szerbiai Demokrata Párt 7,8-ot, a Demokrata Párt 6,1%-ot és a Szerbia Egyesült Régiói 5,2%-ot kaphat. A Liberális Demokrata Párt 4,7%-al a bejutási küszöb alatt szerepel a mostani közvéleménykutatás szerint. A kisebbségekre nem vonatkozik a küszöb. Az egyértelműen európapárti, megkérdőjelezhetetlenül demokratikus alapokon álló pártok tehát kevesebb mint 25%-ot tesznek ki. A pragmatikus, de nacionalista gyökerű Haladó Párt egyedül is kormányt alakíthat.
On 16.03.2014 Serbia elects a new parliament. According to polls the two currently governing parties the Serbian Progressive Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia would receive 48,8% and 9,4% respectively. The New Democratic Party of former President Borsi Tadić would get 8,6%, Vojislav Koštunica's Democratic Party of Serbia would receive 7,8%, followed by the Democratic Party with 6,1%, United Regions of Serbia with 5,2% and the Liberal Democratic Party with 4,7%, slightly below the threshold. Minorities are exempt from the threshold. According to this poll, parties with unquestionable democratic credentials will not receive more than 25%. The pragmatic Progressive Party (albeit rooted in the nationalist Serbian Radical Party) might be able to form a government on its own.
