According to the latest polls the Social Democratic Party of Romania will win the European Parliamentary elections with 35-41%, followed by their coalition partners, the National Liberal Party(15-20%) and the formerly governing party, the Democratic Liberal Party (14-19%). The Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania would receive 5-7%, and the new party of President Basescu could get 5%. The populistic PPDD coulg get 5-6% according to the polls.
